As the CircEUlar project proudly turns two this September, the entire consortium is gathering for its third in-person meeting. After meetings in Vienna, Austria, and Venice, Italy, the consortium convenes in Groningen, the Netherlands, this year.

Over the course of three days, the project members will dive deep into discussions, sharing key progress from the research done in the past two years and the innovative work currently underway. The event will be hosted by the Rudolf Agricola School of Sustainable Development at the House of Connections.

Excitingly, in an interactive stakeholder workshop titled “Towards Net-Zero through a Circular Economy: The Consumer and Business Perspectives,” CircEUlar’s researchers will engage with a diverse group of participants from local government, businesses, and civil society. During this half-day event, recent research will be presented, followed by lively, interactive discussions. The focal point? Understanding the transition to a circular economy from both a consumer and business perspective.

Adding to the richness of the dialogue, guests from CircEUlar’s sister project, CircoMod, will be attending to share insights into their work as well. And, of course, no professional gathering would be complete without ample time for networking! Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals over coffee breaks and post-workshop drinks.
